Hungarian Government Research Quality Awards

On February 8th the State Secretariat for Education released the results for the “Research Faculties” selection for the 2013-2016 period. The “Research Faculty” certification is meant to identify the top performers in Hungarian higher education in regards to quality of the research, education and innovation.  Only four independent faculties were awarded the certification this year.  SZIE is proud to be home to two of the selected faculties.

  • The Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and
  • The Faculty of Veterinary Sciences.

We see this as proof of our commitment to groundbreaking research and quality education, as well as reinforcing our stature as the predominant life sciences university in Hungary. 
The other awarded faculties are the Faculty of Information Technology of Pazmany Peter Catholic University and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pannonia.  We congratulate all of the awarded faculties and universities for their success and contributions to excellence in Hungarian research.
