Visit of the Nigerian Educational Delegation

February 9, 2017 Gödöllő – a delegation of  five people from the Nigerian Educational Ministry paid a visit to our University. The delegation was led by I. S. Agunwah (director of the Ministry and former president of the Nigerian Scholarship-committee), with guests  escorted by Ebere Nnenne Ibekaku, chief counsellor of the Nigerian Embassy. The reason for their visit was to have direct feedback from the University and their Stipendium Hungaricum students about the exchange students’ educational development, integration, and contingent problems.

Visit of the Mongolian ambassador

January 11 2017, Gödöllő - Dr. Batbayar Zeneemyadar, the Mongolian ambassador accredited to Hungary, paid an official short visit to our University. Rector Dr. János Tőzsér, Head of Department Dr. Béla Urbányi,  and International Relations office leader Dr. Zsuzsanna Tarr  welcomed the ambassador, who graduated from  ELTE with a degree in law and speaks proficient Hungarian .

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements for admission
Applicants who have MSc degree in fields, specified by the particular PhD school are eligible for admission to PhD studies at Szent István University. Admission is based on entrance examinations including a review of the MSc degree of the applicant and a face-to-face interview by a committee delegated by the Executive Body of the PhD School.
Applicants are requested to earn a GPA (grade point average) of 4.0 on a scale of 5.0 during their MSc studies.

Please, be informed that "The preparatory programme prior to the bachelor programme and specialisation programmes following bachelor and master programmes as well as part-time studies or doctoral programmes cannot be extended (as of 4 April 2018)."

Eligible Sending Partners
The Stipendium Hungaricum Programme is based on effective bilateral educational cooperation agreements between the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary and the partner’s Ministry responsible for higher education. Applications will be considered eligible if the applicant is nominated by the responsible authorities of the sending partner.
